Demo Class using ''PPP Approach''

INTRO


As part of Communicative English Teaching, CLT, the teacher send us to practice in a real classroom, we had to create our own lesson plan, with different activities using Presentation, Practice and Production, PPP.
after we studied the method and the approach too, how it worked we have to practice it.
the activities in the lesson plan according to what we studied and the teacher experience
Now you are going to watch our work in team, I did not appear but I also worked in it.
My friend Andrea was the teacher, but watching the videos I realized how difficult was it, they worked with only 10 children, I suppose we will work with 30-50 children and it will be harder.

CLT is effective in some cases, in this case it was, the children learned what was expected, they practiced as you can see. Being techer for an hour was interesting and check how they behave. my conclusion is we as teacher should know what method use with the different groups. some of them will work and some of them will not

SELF EVALUATION

In this subject I learned a lot, specially in the last classes. The beggining of the course was pretty bitter because of some classmates, some of them did not encourage me, but some of them did. The attitude towards the course I figured out is higly important as a major. However I did not have a good attitude from the beggining and later on it got better. I really learned what we discuss in class, theory mainly, because in practice I did not do my best. I know I was not the perfect student in the class I know several times I was not in class, I have to admitt I did not make my tasks in time. But I learned maybe not what I was expected to learn but I did.  :)

letters home!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 Hello everyone!!  I´m here again! do you want to hear my story?? 

well, this one is about a lesson in my book. Hope you like it!! :3

Once upon a time a twenty two years old boy. He was from a poor country. He had a dream, to change the way he had been living. So he decided to go abroad. And he did it!

When he arrived the new place, he started to write letters to home.

He wrote four letters for his family, in every single letter, he described what was happening to him. At the beginnig he told them that he was living in a hostel with other ten guys, and also he had to pay the journey´s depth, furthermore he met a man who got a job for him, it was carrying boxes in the market at night

All the things started to go better. He found a new flat where he lived with two friends too. Although the new flat was smaller he felt comfortable like home. And a couple of weeks later he got a new job in a restaurant where he used to go to write the letters. While he was living abroad, he had got new and pretty good experiences with people. He met good friends and they created a football team. So, the practice got him a lot of experience. One day he wrote them, that a talent scout found him, the man was amazed when the boy played.

The final of this story is that the guy was very lucky, however he worked very hard to get everything he wanted.

One year ago, I took my English IV class which was useful for me and probably the most difficult that I had taken, indeed. The course started in January, in those times I used to be shy and it wasn't good in a career about language and communication. As you know a good decision in a good time helps you a lot, so everything changed in the first week.

The deal was all the students had to speak with a classmate, exlplain about them, their background and about their dreams, just to practice. Certainly everyone had different things to share with the another one, and my classmate was a woman. I remember most her presentation because it was brilliant, her speaking was completely good, and I was scared about mine. What will she think about my work?

I can remember her words clearly. She was Carolina. She was 19 and single as well. She lived in Tlaxcala (a state near to Puebla) with her family, she told me about them. Her parents were together, they had 4 kids including her. She had 2 sisters and 2 brothers and nieces and nephews too. I think she was happy, I could see that into her eyes. She used to enjoy the career and she told me that she loved the English language. One of her dreams was to be an English teacher because she thought that a good professor could improve the ideas of their students and would get better; another one was to practice skydiving someday.

In that exercise we had to switch the classmates to speak with other however, the another one the second mate, had to exlpain about the first partner. The next girl was Anaì. Before she started to speak, I heard a voice in my head, it was my mind. I knew all. I had to speak and like I said it needed to be better than the last time that I spoke. And I did!. I forced to myself to speak better, so the another girl was completely amazed by my speaking. That was my decision, I took it in the perfect time and since that moment I started to improve, and give me up isn`t a option and it'll never be. I wanted to share with you my experience
